The train moves at the rate of 108 km per hr.

The speed is 108 km / hr

We know that:

1 km = 1000 m

108 km = 108 *  1000 m

Now 1 hr is 60 min

==> 1 hr = 60 * 60 s

==> 1 hr = 3600 s

Now 108 km / 1 hr

is 108 * 1000 m / 3600 s

==> 108 * 10 / 36 m/s

==> 1080 / 36 m/s

==> 30 m / s

The speed will be 30 m /s

Hope it helps you
