a train moving at a speed of 75 kilometre per hour covers a certain distance in 4.8 hours what should be the speed of a train to cover the same distance in 3 hours???

I want whole explanation.....​

Answer:

DISTANCE = SPEED X TIME.

DISTANCE = 75 X 4.8 = 300+60.0 = 360

AS THE DISTANCE IS SAME THROUGHOUT.

THEN,

SPEED = DISTANCE / TIME

SPEED = 360 / 3 = 120 KMPH.

SPEED OF THE TRAIN SHOULD BE 120 KMPH TO COVER THE SAME DISTANCE IN 3 HOURS.
