v = u + at

or acceleration will be

a = (v - u) / t

here,

v = 108 kmph = 30 m/s

u = 144 kmph = 40 m/s

t = 20min = 1200 s

so,

a = (40 - 30) / 1200

thus,

a = 0.008 m/s2

also we have

s = ut + (1/2)at2

or

s = (30x1200) + (1/2)x0.008x12002

= 36000 + 5760

thus, we have

s = 41760m = 41.76 km

Round off = 42kmph
