a train moving with a velocity of 18 kilometre takes 5 seconds to stop after the brakes are applied.
Find the force exerted on it if the mass is 2000 kg????​

Initial velocity = 180km/hr = 50m/s

Final Velocity = 0

Time= 5 s , mass = 2000 kg

From first equation on motion,

v = u + at

u = -at

a = -(u/t) = -10m/s²

From newton's second law,

Force = mass × acceleration

F = 2000 × (-10)

F= (-20000)
