solution:

given initial velocity (u) = 90km/h=25m/s

retardation is negative of acceleration=-a=0.5ms^-2

time(t) = 10 sec final velocity (v) = ?

the first equation of motion is

v=u+at here a is negative so v= u-at

putting the values,we get

v=25-0.5×10=25-5= 20m/s

20m/s is the velocity after 10 sec
