let a be the acceleration

72 kph - 54 kph = a*(15 secs)

18 kph = 15a(secs)

let's now convert 18 kph to m/s

18 km/hr x (1 hr/3,600 secs) x (1,000 m/1 km) = 5 m/s

5 m/s = 15a(secs)

1/3 m/s^2 = a ---> final answer!
