Answer!
let length of bridge be b meters.
so speed of train= distance/time
=> length of train+length of bridge / time take to cross the bridge
=> (50+b)/36 = 30*5/18 ← converting from kmph to mps
=> 50+ b = 300
=> b = 250m
so the length of the bridge is 250m.
Hope it helps you!

Answer:
250 m
Explanation:
Let the length of the bridge be 'x' metre.
Total distance covered = 50 + x.
Total time taken = 36 s.
Speed = 30 km/hr
= 30 * (5/18)
= (25/3) m/sec.
Now,
Speed = Distance/Time
⇒ (25/3) = (50 + x)/36
⇒ 900 = 3(50 + x)
⇒ 900 = 150 + 3x
⇒ 750 = 3x
⇒ x = 250
∴ Length of the bridge = 250 m.
Hope it helps!
