Here the length of the train and the speed of the train are given

Length = 100 m

Speed = 60 km/hr

We will first convert the speed into  m/s

60 km/hr = 60 \times \frac{5}{18} \\

               = 4.44 m/s

We have to find the time taken by the train to cross the tree

We will use the formula

speed = \frac{distance}{time}

Putting the values in the formula

4.44=\frac{100}{time}\\\\time = \frac{100}{4.44}\\\\time = 22.52 secs

So, the time taken will be 22.52 secs.
