For the First Train,

Length = 200 m.

Speed = 30 m/s.

For the Second train,

Length = 300 m.

Speed = 20 m/s.

Speed of the First Train w.r.t. second train = Speed of the First train - Speed of the Second Train.

= 30 - (-20)

= 50 m/s.

Length of the First train w.r.t. second train = 200 - (-300)

= 500 m.

∴ Time taken by them to cross each other = 500/50

= 10 s.

Hence, the time taken by them to cross each other is 10 seconds.

Hope it help .
