A train of length 250 meters passes a platform of 350 metres in length in 50 seconds what time will it take to pass the platform of 230 meters length

Solution :-

Speed of train :-

= > ( train length + platform length ) / time

=> Speed of train =(250+350)/50

=> 12m/s

Time taken to cross platform of 230+250

=> 480/12

=> 40 sec

Therefore time taken is 40 second Ans.

=600 m passed in 50s
(250+230) m will pass in
50/600×480 s
=5×8 s
=40s
