The weight of train = Mass = m= 3.7 × 10^6 N

Speed of the train =Velocity = v 40.8 m/s

To Find : The kinetic energy of the moving train

Kinetic Energy = ½ m v²

= ½ × 3.7 × 10^6 × 40.8 m/s

= 75. 48 × 10^6 Joules.

The required answer is =

75.48 \times {10}^{6} \: joules

What is kinetic energy ?

The energy possessed by any body because of it's virtue of the motion.
