A train passes an electric pole in 10 seconds and a bridge of the same length as the

train in 20 seconds. Is the body moving with uniform velocity or uniform

acceleration?

a)It is moving with uniform velocity

Explanation: Let the length of train is x

Given time for electric pole is 10 second

                    Bridge of same length 20 sec,

Let assume a electric pole at the both end of the bridge.

                    time for that 20 sec.

so total length train+pool = 2x

So, for covering 2x time is 2*10=20 sec.

Hence, it is moving with constant velocity

Suppose the length of the train is s metres.Train passes pole in 10 seconds i.e. train cover s meters in 10 seconds.And train passes the bridge of the same length as the train in 20 seconds i.e. train cover 2s metere in 20 seconds.

It is clear that train is moving with uniform velocity.
