to cross a bridge the train has to cover its length + length of bridge.

for first bridge,

speed of train (v) = l + 800/100

for second bridge,

speed of train (v) = l + 400/60

Since speed of train is same

l+800/100 = l+400/60

60(l+800) = 100(l+400)

60l + 48000 = 100l + 40000

40l = 8000

l = 200 m.

Length of train = 200 m
