Answer:

let the length of the train be 'x'm

speed of train =108 x 5/18 =30m/sec.

time taken to cross platform = sum of lengths of train

11=(x+170)30

x= 330-170 = 160

taken to cross a 110 m long

platform = (160+110) / 30 = 270/30= 9sec.
