18km/h = 5 metres/second

36km/h = 10 metres/second

600 metres

Use the SUVAT equations, v2=u2+2as. The v and u are squared.

S = displacement

U = original velocity

V = final velocity

A = acceleration

T = time taken

(10)squared = (5)squared + 2 x acceleration x (600)

rearranged, the answer to find acceleration is 0.0625m/s/s     :)
