Change speed km/h into m/sec

(54*1000m)/(1*60*60 sec)=15m/sec

step2- Length of train= (speed of train) ×( time taken to

pass electric pole)

Length of train= 15m/sec × 11sec= 165m

Step3- total distance to pass through the platform=

length of platform+2(length of train)

step4- total distance= 240m+2(165m)

= 240m+330m

Total distance= 570m

step5- Time= distance/speed

Time taken to cross platform=( 570m)/(15m/sec)

Time taken to cross platform = 38 second
