Speed = 90km/h= 25m/s
Time= 20 sec
Length(d)=?
s=d/t
d=s x t
d= 20 x 25
d= 500 m
Thus length of train = 500m

Answer:

The length of the train is 500 m.

Given, Speed of the running train = 90 km/hr

     = (90 × 1000)/(60 × 60)=25 m/s

The train can cross the pole in a certain time which is = 20 seconds

∴ Length of the train can also be taken as the distance traveled by the train = Speed x Time

         = 25 m/s x 20 s

         = 500 m.

“Length of the train is 500 m” and passes a pole in 20 seconds.
