Total time taken = 4 + 5 + 1

                           = 10 hours.

(i) Distance traveled in 4 hrs at an average speed of 28 km/hr

= 28 * 4

= 112 km.

(ii) Distance traveled in 5 hrs at an average speed of 30 km/hr

= 30 * 5

= 150 km

(iii) Distance traveled in 1 hour at an average speed of 40 km/hr

= 40 * 1

= 40 km

Now,

Total Distance = 112 + 150 + 40

                        = 302

Average Speed = 302/ 10

                          = 30.2 km/hr

Hope it helps!
