A train start from rest and accelerate uniformly at a rate of 2m/s for 10 sec .It then maintains a constant speed for 200sec then the brakes are applied and the train is uniformly retarded and comes to rest in 50sec . Find the reatardation in last 50 sec

Answer:

okay so here is the way

Explanation:

The acceleration= 2*10ms

=20 ms^2

retardation=v-u/t

                = 20-0ms/50

    retardation            =0.4 ms

SEE IN THE ABOVE THE VELOCITY OF TRAIN WAS FROM REST TO 20ms BY A CONSTANT ACCELERATION THATS WHY WE TOOK INITIAL VELOCITY AS 20 ACTUALLY THE INITIAL AND FINAL IS INTERCHANGED BECAUSE THEY CAN EITHER BE WRITTEN WITH NEGATIVE SIGN OR WITH THE TERM 'RETARDATION' SO IF U WRITE THAT WAY ITS CORRECT FULL MARKS IS GIVEN. NOW WHEN U DIVIDE THEM THE ANSWER COMES TO BE 0.4 MS AS RETARDATION AND ON MS U MUST WRITE RAISED TO -2.

HOPE IT HELPS PLZ MARK THE BRAINLIEST I NEVER COPY LIKE EVERYONE...
