Inital velocity (u) = 0

Final velocity (v) = 40 km/h = 40×5/18 = 200/18 = 11.11 m/s

Time (t) = 10 min = 600 seconds

acceleration (a) = v - u/t

= 11.11m/s–0 m/s ÷ 600s

= 11.11 m/s ÷ 600s

= 0.0185 m/s^2

time=10min

convert into m/s

iv= 0×5/18=0m/s

fv=40×5/18=11.11m/s

T=10×60=600second

THEREFORE, acceleration= V-U/T

=11.11-0/600

=0.0185m/s
