u= initial velocity= 0
v= final velocity= 40 km/h= 40*5/18 m/s=11.12 m/s
t= time = 10 mins = 10*60= 600 s
so, acceleration
acceleration= v-u/t = 11.12-0/600 m/s^2 = 0.0186 m/s^2

now the speed is in kmperhr
so converting time in hr 10min = 10/60= 1/6 hr so applying a=v-u/t
v = 40km/hr
u=0km/hr
accn=a
time=t
a=40/1/6
a=240km/hr^2
