Changing 40 kmph into mps
 = 40 \times \frac{5}{18} \\ = \frac{200}{18} mps

Changing 10 mins in secs.
10 minutes = 10×60=600 seconds.

acceleration =
 = \frac{\frac{200}{18} - 0}{600} \\ = \frac{200}{600} \\ = \frac{1}{3} mp {s}^{ - 2}
