first convert km/ hr into m/ s
40× 5/18= 200/18
since v= u + at
since train started from rest initial velocity will be zero
therefore 200/18= a× t
and t = 5 seconds
therefore a= 200/18×5
=40/18 = 2.222 metre per square second
40× 5/18= 200/18
since v= u + at
since train started from rest initial velocity will be zero
therefore 200/18= a× t
