Answer:

  • 0.1 m/s².

Explanation:

We have,

  • Initial velocity (u) = 0 m/s
  • Final velocity (v) = 216 Km/h
  • Time taken (t) = 10 min

To find,

  • Acceleration (a)

Solution,

Final velocity:

=> 216 × (5/18)

=> 60 m/s

____________

Time taken:

=> 10 × 60

=> 600 sec

_____________

Acceleration = Change in velocity/Time taken

=> a = v - u/t

=> a = 60 - 0/600

=> a = 60/600

∴ a = 0.1 m/s²

Given: Initial velocity = 0 m/s, Final velocity 261 km/h, Time taken = 10 minus

To find: Acceleration

_____________________________

Final velocity:

  • 216 × (5/18)
  • 60m/s

____________________________

Converting time taken in seconds

  • 10 × 60
  • 600 secs

___________________________

Acceleration = Change in velocity/time

  • a = v - u/t
  • a = 60 - 0/600
  • a = 60 / 600
  • a = 0.1 m/s²

Hence the acceleration is 0.1 m/s².
