A train starting from a railway station moving with uniform acceleration attains a speed of 40 km / h in 10 minutes. Find it's acceleration.

u=0 as the train was in rest
v=40km/hr=40*5/18=100/9 m/s=11.1m/s
t=10 min=10*60=600sec
a=v-u/t
  =11.1-0/600
  =111/6000 m/s
