Answer:

u= 0( initial velocity)

v= 40 km/hr( final velocity)

t= 10 min= 10/60=1/6 hour.

a=(v-u)/t

(40-0)/(1/6)

40÷1/6= 40*6/1= 240 km/hr^2

acceleration= 240km/hr^2

in m/s^2

v= 40 km/hr= 40*5/18 m/s= 100/9 m/s.

t=10 min (1 min= 60s)= 10*60=600s.

a=(v-u)/t

= (100/9-0)/600

100/9÷600

100/9*1/600= 1/54= 0.0185 m/s^2.

acceleration= 0.0185m/s^2.
