A train starting from rest attains a velocity of 20m/s in 2 min . Assuming that the acceleration is uniform find
1- the acceleration
2- distance traveled by the train while it attained this velocity.

Acceleration=(v-u)/t
=(20-0)/120
=1/6m/s^2
distance travelled=s=ut+1/2at^2
=0+1/2*1/6*120*120
=1200m
