Given that,

Acceleration = 5 m/s²

Distance = 1 km

We need to calculate the velocity of train

Using equation of motion

v^2=u^2+2as

Where, u = initial velocity

a = acceleration

s = distance

Put the value into the formula

v^2=0+2\times5\times1\times10^{3}

v=\sqrt{2\times5\times1\times10^{3}}

v=100\ m/s

Hence, The velocity of train is 100 m/s
