Hey!

______________

Initial velocity (u) = 0
Final velocity (v) = 35 m/s
Acceleration (a) = 2 m/s^2

Distance travelled (s) =?

We know,

2as = v^2 - u^2

2 × 2 × s = 35^2 - 0
4s = 1225
s = 1225/4
s = 306.25 m

______________

Hope it helps...!!!

Hi there !!
Here's your answer

Initial Velocity of the train (u) = 0m/s [ Since the train starts from position of rest ]
Final Velocity (v) = 35m/s
Acceleration = 2m/s²

To find the distance covered by train , we will use the third equation of uniform motion which is :

2as = v² - u²

2(2)(s) =35² - 0²

4s = 1225

s = 1225/4

s = 306.25

Thus,
the distance is 306.25 m
