Given :

  • Train starts from rest , u=0
  • a= 5m/sec²
  • t = 5sec

To find :

velocity of train in 5 sec.

{\purple{\boxed{\large{\bold{Formula's}}}}}

Kinematic equations for uniformly accelerated motion .

\bf\:v=u+at

\bf\:s=ut+\frac{1}{2}at{}^{2}

\bf\:v{}^{2}=u{}^{2}+2as

and \bf\:s_{nth}=u+\frac{a}{2}(2n-1)

Solution :

By using equation of motion

\sf\:v=u+at

\implies\sf\:v=0+5\times5

\sf\implies\:v=25ms{}^{-1}

Therefore ,velocity of train in 5 sec is 25 m/s

Answer:

Explanation:

Solution,

Here, we have

Initial velocity, u = 0 (As train starts from rest)

Acceleration, a = 5 m/s²

Time taken, t = 5 seconds

To Find,

Final velocity, v = ??

According to the 1st equation of motion,

We know that

v = u + at

So, putting all the values, we get

⇒ v = u + at

⇒ v = 0 + 5 × 5

⇒ v = 5 × 5

v = 25 m/s

Hence, the final velocity of train is 25 m/s.
