v= u + at

v = 2 x 30

v= 60 m/s

now

v^2 -u^2 = 2as

s = 3600 / 2 x2

s = 900 m

and the distance travelled before it

s = at^2

s = 2 x 900

s= 1800

so totally distance
= 1800 + 900
= 2700 m

sanskriti1517: no this answer is wrong the correct answer is 2700 m/s^2
AionAbhishek: ohk let me check again
AionAbhishek: sorry i just calculated retardation distance
