A train starts from rest attains a velocity of 72 kmh^-1 in 5 minutes. Assuming that the acceleration is uniform. Find (1) the acceleration (2) the distance travelled by the train for attaining this velocity?​

t = 5 minutes = 5×60 = 300

a = v-u/t = 20-0/300 = 1/15 m/s²

2 as = v²-u² , u =0

s = v²/2a = 20²/2×1/15 = 3000m = 3km
