a train starts from station A at 8am towards station B at a speed of 70m/hr. At the same time another train starts from station B towards station A at a speed of 80m/hr. If the distance between station A and B is 200 miles, at what time the two trains cross each other?

Time taken by the train A = x/70 h
Time taken by the train B= [200 - x]/80 h
x/70 = (200-x) / 80
80x = 14000 - 70 x
150x= 14000
x = 93.33 miles
Time(t) = 1400/(15*70)
= 20/15 h
= 4/3 h
(4/3)* 60 minutes
= 80 minutes
= 1 hour 20 minutes
Therefore, both the trains will cross each other at 9:20 am
[(i.e) 1 hour 20 minutes after 8 am]
