A train starts moving from rest and acquires a velocity of 72 km/h in 5 minutes. If the train moves at
a constant acceleration, calculate the following-
(1) Acceleration
(2)Distance travelled by the bus to acquire this velocity.​

Answer:

a = \frac{v + u}{t}

72 \frac{km}{hr} = 20\frac{m}{sec}

5 mins = 300 secs

a = \frac{20 - 0}{300}

a = \frac{2}{30} \frac{m}{sec^{2} }

a = 0.0666666666....................
