From the given question the correct answer is:

Average speed =80km/per hour

the average velocity of the train=0km/hr

Given:

Time:

A train takes to reach station B from station 4= 2hours

A train takes  to Return to station A=3hours

Distance  between the two stations: 200km

to find:

A) The average speed.

B) average velocity of the train.

Solution:

given that,

Distance  between the two stations: 200km

so, the total Distance covered by train = 200km+200km

                                                                 =400km

the total Time covered by train=2h+3h

                                                   =5h

Dispalcement=0

we know that,

average speed.=\frac{total distance}{total time}

average speed=\frac{400km}{5h}

Average speed =80km/per hour

average velocity=\frac{Total Displacement}{total time} \\\\average velocity=\frac{0}{5h} \\

average velocity=0km/hr

Hence, Average speed =80km/per hour

average velocity of the train=0km/hr
