Given :

• The total time taken by the train to travel from Agra to Delhi = 3 hours

• The speed at which the train travels = 70 km/h

To find :

• Distance between the cities

Solution :

★ Distance is the path travelled by an object. It is the product of speed and time.

Formula to calculate distance :-

→ Distance = S × T

where,

• S denotes the speed

• T denotes the time

we have,

• S = 70 km/h

• T = 3 hours

Substituting the given values :-

→ Distance = 70 × 3

→ Distance = 210

Distance = 210 km

Therefore, the distance between the two cities = 210 km

Know MorE :

→ Speed is the rate at which an object travels.

  • Speed = Distance ÷ Time

→ Time = Distance ÷ Speed

→ Average speed = Total distance travelled ÷ Total time taken
