v1 = 60km/hr

t1= 8 hrs

s=v x t

s=60 x 8= 480km

therefore,as the distance is same:

given: t2=6 hrs

s=480 km

therefore,

v=s/t=480/6=80km/hr

distance=speed*time
distance=4*60=240km
to travel 240 km in 40 km/h
time taken=distance/speed=240/40=6hrs
