Hey Dear,

◆ Answer -

Average speed = 60 km/h

Displacement = 0 km

Average velocity = 0 km/h

◆ Explaination -

Total distance covered is calculated by -

Distance = 60 + 60

Distance = 120 km

Total time taken for journey is -

Time = 80 + 40

Time = 120 min

Time = 2 hrs

Average speed of the train is -

Average speed = distance / time

Average speed = 120 / 2

Average speed = 60 km/h

Displacement of the train is zero as train returns at its original point of arrival.

Average velocity of the train is zero as its displacement is zero.

Thanks dear...

Answer :

1) Average speed = Total Distance / Total Time

= 120 km / 2 hr (40+80=120 min)

= 60 km/hr

2) Displacement = 0 Because it has initially returned to it original position.

3) Average Velocity = 0 because displacement is 0.
