Average speed= total distance/ total time
total distance= 15+75+10=100km
total time= 15/30 +75/50 +10/20
= 1/2 + 3/2 + 1/2 = 5/2= 2.5
>> av. speed = 100/2.5 = 40 km/hr
total distance= 15+75+10=100km
total time= 15/30 +75/50 +10/20
= 1/2 + 3/2 + 1/2 = 5/2= 2.5
>> av. speed = 100/2.5 = 40 km/hr

As we know average speed=total distance/total time.
Here, total distance is 75+15+10=100km
now, time can be calculated using speed distance formula so,time will come 2.5h
now, average speed=100/2.5
Will give 40km/h
