Therefore speed=distance/time
=215/3=71.6miles/hour----------------(1)
In the second case the train travels 130miles in 2.5 hours
Therefore speed=distance/time
=130/2.5
=52miles/hour----------------(2)
Average speed =sum of both speeds/number of speed
=71.6+52/2
=123.6/2
=61.8 miles/hour
