v1 = 60km/hr

t1= 8 hrs

s=v x t

s=60 x 8= 480km

therefore,as the distance is same:

given: t2=6 hrs

s=480 km

therefore,

v=s/t=480/6=80km/hr

2nd example

Given:

Speed S1 = 60 km/hr

Time T1 = 8

Solution:

Distance = Speed*Time

D=S1*T1

D=60*8

D=480km

New time taken by car 6 hr

Speed=480/6

Speed = 80 km/hr

Hence, the new speed of car is 80 km/hr
