we know that distance = speed * time
according to question,
(x+10)(y-3)=xy
i.e, -3x + 10y = 30. ------------1
also, (x-5)(y+2)=xy
i.e, 2x - 5y =10 -----------2
solving 1,2 we get x=30 y=10
hence distance = 300km
