L = (S + 6)(T-8)

L = (S -6)(T + 12)

ST -8S +6T -48 = ST + 12S -6T -72

20S = 12T + 24

5S = 3T + 6. Eq1

ST = ST + 12S -6T -72

12 S = 6T + 72

6S = 3T + 36. Eq2

Eq2-eq1

S = 30

5*30 = 3T + 6

T = 144/3

T = 48

L = ST = 30*48 = 1440 km
