A train travelling at 20 m per second accelerated 0.5 m per second square for 30 second how far will it cover in this time

Initial velocity 【u】 = 20m/s

Acceleration 【a】 = 0.5 m/s

Time 【t】= 30 sec


Now, by using the second equation of motion,

s = ut +  \frac{1}{2} at {}^{2}

We, have it as...

s = 20 \times 30 +  \frac{1}{2}  \times 0.5 \times (30) {}^{2}

s = 825 \: m

∴ It will cover 825 m in this time.
