Given:

  • Initial velocity, u = 20m/s
  • Time taken, t = 30 s
  • Acceleration, a = 0.5m/s^2

To Find:

  • Distance travelled by the train ?

Solution:

By applying second equation of motion,

\star\;{\boxed{\sf{\purple {ut + \dfrac{1}{2} a{t}^2}}}}\\ \\

Putting the values,

:\implies\sf 20 \times 30 + \dfrac{1}{2} \times 0.5 \times 30 \times 30 \\ \\

:\implies\sf 600 + 225 \\ \\

:\implies{\boxed{\frak{\pink{ 825\;m }}}}\;\bigstar\\ \\

\boxed{\substack{\displaystyle \sf \star v=u+at \\\\  \displaystyle \sf \star \: \: s = ut+\dfrac{1}{2}at^2 \\\\ \displaystyle \sf \star \: \: 2as=v^2-u^2}}
