A train travelling at 20 m s-'accelerates at 0.5 m s2 for 30 s. How far will it travel in this time?

given here:

U=20 m/s.

a=0.5m/s^2

t=30sec.

using second low of motion:

==>s=ut+1/2 *a*(t)^2 .

==>s=20 * 30 +1/2 * 0.5 * (30)^2.

==>s=600+900* 0.5/2

==>s= 600+450*0.5

==>S=600+225.0

==>s=825m

thus:

train will be travel on 30sec

. = 825meter.
