Answer: Length of train is 200 m.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the length of the train be x m.

A.T.Q

550+x=30. --------------(1)

700+x=36. ----------------(2)

Subtract equ. 1 from 2.

700+x-550-x=36-30

150=6

25 m=1 sec.

As, we know that the train travels at 25 m/sec.

700+x=36*25

700 +x=900

x=200 m

Answer:

Answer is 200 metres

Step-by-step explanation:

Speed of the train is =(700 - 550) / (36 - 30) Speed of train = 150 / 6 =

Length of train = (25*30) - 550 = 750 - 550

=200m

(OR)

Length of train = (25*36) - 700 = 900 - 700

=200m
