A train travelling at a speed of 30 m/s crosses a 600 m long platform in 30 sec. Find the length of the train.

Length of the Train + Length of the Platform (m) = Speed of the Train (m/s) × Time taken to cross the platform (s)
let the length of the train be x
x+600m=30m/s×30s
600+x =900
x=900-600
x=300m
so the length of the train is 300m
