Answer:

Explanation:

DISTANCE TRAVELLED ,D= 35 KM

TIME TAKEN , T = 50 MIN

                           = 50/60

                           = 5/6 HOURS.

SPEED ,S = DISTANCE / TIME TAKEN

                = 35/(5/6)

                = 35*6/5

                = 7*6

                = 42 KM/H

NOTE : TO CONVERT KM/H TO M/S * BY 5/18

            TO CONVERT M/S TO KM/H * BY 18/5

SPEED , S = 42*5/18

                 = 11.66 M/S.

THEREFORE THE SPEED OF THE TRAIN IS:

                  = 42 KM/H

                  = 11.66 M/S.

HOPE THIS HELPS.

Answer:

we know speed = distance/time

and given that distance=35 km=35×1000 m

                         time =50 minute =5/6 hour=50×60 second

                             speed=D/T

                                 =35 km/5/6 hour=42km/h

                                 =35×1000 m/50×60 second= 11.667m/s
