Distance covered by train =160km
time taken =2hrs

Distance covered by car =270km
time taken =3 hrs

ratio of train =160/2 =80
ratio of car =270/3= 90

now,
80/90 =8:9

hope it helps!!!

Answer:

Distance traveled by train in 4 hours =160 km

Distance traveled by train in 1 hours d=

4

160÷4

⇒40 km

Distance traveled by Car in 5 hours =270 km

Distance traveled by Car in 1 hours D= 3

270÷3

⇒90 km

Now,

The required ratio =d:D⇒40:90⇒4:9
